bet-at-home ICE Hockey League:
Sun, 12.12.2021, 17:30: EC-KAC - HC Pustertal
Referees: GROZNIK, PIRAGIC, Hribar, Miklic | >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

The EC-KAC was able to pull off a clear 4:0 away win in Villach on Friday night in the first Carinthian derby of the season and improved to seventh place. Now the defending champions want to make the jump into the top-6 in the home game against HC Pustertal. In October, the Klagenfurt side visited the newly opened Intercable Arena and celebrated a 4:1 win, also thanks to a Bischofberger brace. On home ice, the KAC's performance has been rather mixed so far this season, with only six wins from twelve games in the Stadthalle. The guests from South Tyrol have earned two clear victories against their immediate neighbors in the standings (Linz and Dornbirn) so far this week. The signing of Max Gerlach, who became the bet-at-home top performer in Friday matches also brought a boost. Since his move to HCP during the international break, the team from Bruneck has won six of nine games.

Sun, 12.12.2021, 17:30: Hydro Fehervar AV 19 - HK SZ Olimpija
Referees: NAGY, RENCZ, Kis-Kiraly, Vaczi | >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

Both Fehervar and Olimpija had to admit defeat on Friday, for the Hungarians it was already the second defeat in a row. With only two wins from the last eight games, the team of head coach Kevin Constantine struggles and fell to fourth place in the table. However, Fehervar narrowly prevailed 2:1 in their first season meeting with the league leaders from Slovenia. With seven wins from eleven games, Olimpija is the best away team in the league. The Slovenians also have the best offense and the current top scorer in Guillaume Leclerc.

Sun, 12.12.2021, 17:30: Tesla Orli Znojmo - Steinbach Black Wings Linz
Referees: HLAVATY, SMETANA, Durmis, Gatol | >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

HC Tesla Orli Znojmo slipped to tenth place in the standings this week with two away losses in Innsbruck and Salzburg. On the other hand, with nine wins from twelve games, the Czechs are the third best home team in the league, and now they want to improve their record in the first duel of the season with Linz. After a brief upswing, the Black Wings recently had to concede defeat four times in a row. Twice this season, the team at the bottom of the table has already had a six-game losing streak. Stefan Gaffal returns to the lineup after overcoming an injury, and Rafael Rotter is also available to the Linz team again after serving his suspension. The two teams have faced each other 29 times on Czech ice in league history, with the home side prevailing 23 times.

Sun, 12.12.2021, 18:00: HCB Südtirol Alperia - EC Red Bull Salzburg
Referees: TRILAR, ZRNIC, Basso, Mantovani | >> PPV-LIVESTREAM <<

Both teams are following a clear upward trend. The South Tyroleans, coached by Fabio Armani and Alexander Egger, recently won three games in a row, and on Friday the runners-up celebrated a 7:4 home victory over Vienna. As a result, HCB also improved to sixth place. The Foxes and the Red Bulls have met twice so far this season, with the South Tyroleans coming away victorious in both games in Salzburg. The most recent 4:1 loss to Bolzano on November 2 was also the last game before the Red Bulls started a streak. In the last nine games they won seven times, twice they gained at least a point after shootout defeats and are now first chaser of leader Ljubljana.
