Both semifinal series tied at 1–1 heading into Game 3

In the Alps Hockey League, the third semifinal matchups are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. After a commanding 5–0 home victory, HC Gherdeina will travel to defending champion EK Die Zeller Eisbären on Tuesday. One day later, HC Meran/o Pircher and KHL Sisak will face each other in the first of two games within 24 hours.

In the series between Zell am See and Gardena, both teams have secured home wins so far. In Game 1, the defending champion equalized shortly before the end of regulation and clinched victory in overtime. On Saturday, the South Tyroleans responded with a clear 5–0 triumph in front of their home fans. The Pinzgau side currently boasts 13 straight home wins. Meanwhile, the “Furies” have alternated between wins and losses in their last six road games. EKZ also won its last four home encounters against Gardena with an impressive combined goal difference of 17–2.

Meran and Sisak will meet again on Wednesday and Thursday. During their first doubleheader in Croatia, both sides picked up one win apiece. The “Eagles” turned Game 1 around in the third period, while the hosts dominated on Sunday with a convincing 10–3 victory. Meran has won five of its last six home games, whereas Sisak has dropped four of its previous six on the road. Of the four meetings in Meran so far, the home team has prevailed three times. Their most recent clash on January 8, 2026, however, ended in a 3–1 win for the visitors.
