Graz head coach Johan Pennerborn will welcome his newly formed team on the ice for the first time on August 7. Gustav Bouramman, who is entering his second season with the 99ers, will also be part of the team. After initial adjustment difficulties, the offensively strong defenseman performed really well. The 26-year-old recorded six goals and 15 assists in the past season, with most of his points coming from the start of 2023.

Gustav Bouramman: "My first year in Graz was a little up and down. It started with injuries and missing games, which was very frustrating. Then I needed a bit of time to get used to the timing. But I think I had a strong second half of the season. I really liked the organization and the city and I'm happy to be back for another year. My goal for next season is to build on my recent performances. We want to be higher in the standings as a team, win a lot more games and make the playoffs."
