Ljubljana remains table leader
The HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana celebrated a 3:2 victory after overtime at S.G. Cortina Hafro and is still the leader of the Alps Hockey League. It was the fourth consecutive win for the Slovenes in the AHL. All goals of the regular time fell in the first two periods. In overtime, it was Kristjan Cepon who scored the game winning goal for Ljubljana after one minute and 29 seconds. While HKO maintains leader with two points ahead of the Rittner Buam, SGC is seventh in the table. The gap to the sixth placed VEU Feldkirch is three points.

Fassa without a chance at Ritten
The Rittner Buam celebrated a clear 7:1 home win over the Fassa Falcons and thus consolidated the second place in the table. After two periods, the home side clearly led with 5:1. Alex Frei scored his 101st and 102nd goal in the Alps Hockey League for the „Buam“. For Fassa it was the second loss in a row after eight wins in series. Ritten celebrated the fifth win in a row. In the table, RIT is only two points behind leader HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana. Fassa is in fifth place in the table and therefore still above the line.

Feldkirch with close victory against EC-KAC II
The VEU Feldkirch is one place behind Fassa in sixth place in the league table. Thanks to a last minute victory over the EC-KAC II, the Vorarlbergers are still above the line. It was only 53 seconds before the end of the game that Dylan Stanley was able to score the decisive goal for the 4:3 home win. While Feldkirch celebrated their third win in a row, Klagenfurt suffered their fourth loss in a row. The VEU will be in action again on Friday. They will play against the EC Bregenzerwald in the derby at 7:30 p.m.

Pustertal wins game one after Petri Mattila
The HC Pustertal Wölfe narrowly won the first game after the separation from head coach Petri Mattila. Under the direction of interim coach Matej Hocevar, last year's finalist won 3:2 after overtime at the EHC Lustenau. In front of 1089 fans in the Rheinhalle Lustenau, the guests took the lead in the second minute. But in the first period the home side managed to turn the game preliminary. Pustertal equalized to 2:2 after a little more than two minutes in the second period. In the sequel no team scored another goal, which is why the game went into overtime. In this Massimo Carozza scored the decisive goal after two minutes and 50 seconds. In the table, the South Tyroleans are still in third place. The lead over the fourth placed Lustenau is already six points.

Defeats for Kitzbühel, Bregenzerwald, Steel Wings Linz and Silver Caps
Both the EC 'Die Adler' Stadtwerke Kitzbühel, the EC Bregenzerwald, the Steel Wings Linz and the Vienna Capitals Silver suffered defeats. For Bregenzerwald it was the first loss after three wins in a row. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors were able to confirm their strong form in the 5:1 away win. It was the sixth win out of the last seven games for RBJ.

The EK Die Zeller Eisbären gave the Steel Wings Linz no chance. Thanks to the 6:1 home win, Zell am See still has the top six in sight. They currently occupy the 11th place in the table. The gap to the sixth placed VEU Feldkirch is six points.

Kitzbühel lost to HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice with 5:2. It was the first defeat after three wins in a row for the KEC. In the table Kitzbühel is in 14th place. Jesenice is two places ahead in twelfth place.

The Vienna Capitals Silver suffered the eight defeat in a row at the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan. Man of the match in the Broncos' 7:2 win was Slater Doggett. The Canadian scored three times. The Swede Henrik Neubauer scored both goals for the Caps.

Seventh consecutive defeat for Val Gardena
The HC Gherdeina valgardena.it suffered its seventh straight defeat. Against Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey, the South Tyroleans had no chance in the 3:6 away defeat. Due to the victory, Asiago is in eighth place. They are only three points behind place six. For GHE, however, a place in the Pick Round is becoming unlikely. With 33 points they are only in thirteenth place, with ten points behind the sixth place.
