HCB Südtirol Alperia has won final-game 3 against EC Red Bull Salzburg at home 4:2 and is leading in the best of seven series 2:1. Game 4 follows in Bozen on Friday as well.

Captain Alexander Egger gave his team an early lead. Bozens defenseman netted the 1:0 with a covert shot from the distance after just 24 seconds. EC Red Bull Salzburg responded quickly: John Hughes netted the 1:1 90 seconds later. Salzburgs Topscorer surprised goalie Pekka Tuokkola with a shot from a very sharp angel (3.). The game continued offensively. Michael Halmo was stopped by goalie Bernhard Starkbaum in minute 13. Besides the "Foxes" could not take advantage from a Power Play (13.).
