Already Brad's father Doug (Merano) and uncle Mark (Merano and Milan) have played in Italy. For the 24-year-old, Bruneck is the first stop in Europe. The forward enjoyed growing up in his hometown in Prince George (British Columbia), where he racked up strong statistics for years in the junior WHL league. As a playoffs top scorer he got a professional contract in the American Hockey League. With Ontario Reign, Morrison then recorded 10 goals and 10 assists in 2018-19. In subsequent years, the center went to the ECHL (Fort Wayne Comets, Indy Fuel) and AHL (Rockford Icehogs).

"Morrison has decided to pursue a European career and we didn't hesitate for a moment. We are sure that his skills will fit into our ambitious, fighting team", Luciano Basile, Head Coach of HC Pustertal.

On Friday - probably still without the newcomer - HCP will play its very last game (20.00 against Villach) in the old Rienzstadion.
