HCB Südtirol Alperia officially announces that it has agreed to terms with Canadian forward Braden Christoffer for the 2024-25 season. The player from Sherwood Park (Alberta), who turns 30 today, spent the last three seasons in Finland with JYP. Previously - in the 2020-21 season - Christoffer wore the jersey of HC TIWAG Innsbruck, where he scored 19 goals and 32 assists, making him the team's second-highest scorer.

With this new addition, HCB Südtirol Alerpia's squad planning is complete. Under the direction of coach Glen Hanlon and associate coach Fabio Armani, two goalkeepers, seven defensemen and fourteen forwards will be present for the training camp in Corvara. They will be joined by three young players: forwards Daniel Gellon (2001, HC Merano) and Moritz Kaufmann (2002, Unterland Cavaliers) as well as defenseman Matteo Liprandi (2004, Unterland Cavaliers).

Braden Christoffer: "I chose Bolzano because it has a winning tradition and a hockey culture. I want to be a part of that puzzle: I have fond memories of the league, but I played in the win2day ICE Hockey League during Covid and I think the league has changed a bit in those years. I can't wait to get started and get on the ice in front of the white and red fans. Playing in Finland has been a great personal development for me, but now I want to win: I know the team has the same plan and we will do everything we can to achieve that goal."
