For the first time in league history, a player from HC TIWAG Innsbruck wins the "Ron Kennedy Trophy". Last season, Brady Shaw played for Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and made it to the final of the win2day ICE Hockey League with the Hungarians. In the summer, the Canadian winger moved to Innsbruck and advanced to a key player from the first game. With 43 assists, the 30-year-old is at the top of the league-wide assist ranking, while 26 goals also mean fourth place in the goalscoring list. The number 12 of the "Sharks" scored in 40 of his 48 games in the regular season and also leads the scorer ranking of the win2day ICE Hockey League.

Brady Shaw, who will be honored during the quarterfinal series, received by far the most votes of all players in the MVP voting with 56 points and was named first 16 times. His Innsbruck teammate Adam Helewka came in second, while Nick Mattinen of EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV was third.
