Bratislava celebrates comeback win in St. Pölten

HK PSRZ Bratislava celebrated a 3:2 overtime win at the Sabres St. Pölten in the European Women's Hockey League on Friday. The Lower Austrians were already 2:0 ahead after the first period, but the visitors equalised in the third. Emilia Leskovjanska scored the game winner in overtime.

Things looked good for the Sabres - who had previously celebrated three wins - for a long time. Esther Väärälä scored a brace to give them a 2:0 lead after the first period. In an evenly-matched game, the Slovakians pulled one back in the middle period and even equalised in the 46th minute. With the score at 2:2, the game went into overtime, where Emilia Leskovjanska scored the decisive goal. With their fourth win in four games, Bratislava also defended third place in the table.
