The Saturday night matchup saw the home team in control from the opening faceoff. However, despite their dominance, they were unable to beat Budapest’s goaltender in the first 20 minutes. That changed in the second period, as Bratislava struck three times within just 11 minutes to take a 3-0 lead. They didn’t slow down in the final frame, eventually sealing a convincing 7-0 win.

Three Slovakian players recorded a two-goal performance, while Janka Hlinkova stood out with a four-point night, adding two assists to her pair of goals.
