Bratislava and St. Pölten had 36 points each before the game, but the game did not develop that evenly. The hosts took the lead after ten minutes on power play, and a brace shortly before the break made it 3:0. The Lower Austrians, for whom Hannah Tait scored the only goal, could not get any closer. Bratislava won 5:1, with Lucia Istocyova and Ema Tothova scoring two goals each. With the win, the Slovakians also took the lead in the EWHL standings.
