Bregenzerwald celebrates shutout victory

The EC Bregenzerwald celebrated a clear 6:0 home win in the only Friday game against the EC-KAC Future Team. Waltteri Lahtonen was the only player to score twice. Goalkeeper Felix Beck saved all 23 shots and celebrated his first shutout of the season.

After a goalless first period, Bregenzerwald, twelfth in the table, came out of the dressing room better and scored three times in the second period. Three more goals against the 14th followed in the final period. For the ECB it was the first victory after two defeats in a row. The Future Team conceded the second defeat in a row. In the second direct duel of the season it was the second win for Bregenzerwald. On October 1st, they kept the upper hand in Klagenfurt with 3:1. Both ECB and Klagenfurt are already in action again on Saturday. Bregenzerwald will face the Red Bull Hockey Juniors at home, while the Future Team will play in Lustenau.
