Broncos stop Falcons

Cortina connects to top-6
The S.G. Cortina Hafro celebrated a 5:2 success against the HC Gherdeina and found connection to the top-6 again. For Gherdeina it was the sixths consecutive defeat. Cortina had the better start and built a 2:0 lead till the 36th minute. But Gherdeina fought back and tied the game still in the second the period. Cortina shifted one gear up in the final period and created the result of 5:2. Remy Giftopulos scored twice this night.

Broncos end winning streak of Falcons
The Wipptal Sterzing Broncos ended the winning streak of the Fassa Falcons. After eight wins in a row the Falcons got defeated in overtime. But the victory against the Falcons was a hard fought one. After an opening period with no goals, Joseph Mizzi opened the scoring for the Falcons. The WSV tied the game early in the third. Fassa recreated the lead two more times but the Broncos managed to tie both times. The 3:3 was scored only 23 seconds before the end. In overtime Slater Doggett found the decision.
