EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau and HK SZ Olimpija searched their luck in the offense (32:30-shots). Youngster Adis Alagis netted the 1:0 for the Lions in the first Power Play of the game in minute 7. Putnik (34.) and Alagis (40.) extended the lead in period 2 – 3:0, while goalie Maris Jucers allowed no goal from the Slovenes until the end.

HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice had a perfect start into their home-game against EC Bregenzerwald. Luca Basic has netted the 1:0 after just 21 seconds. The „Red Steelers“ have been the chiefs on the ice in period 1 then. Period 2 started as period 1 did: Gasper Sersen netted the 2:0 after just 142 seconds. The game got chippy and the hosts have finally extended the lead with a Power Play goal scored by Urban Sodja – 3:0. But, the West-Austrians showed character and responded with a Power Play goal potted by Christian Haidinger (38.). Period 3 began perfect for the guests as well: Virtanen netted the Wälder‘s second goal after just 24 seconds. The Austrians continued applying pressure on their opponent (18 shots in period 3), but the Slovenian Champion decided the match with two goals scored by Tavzelj (51.) and Sersen (52.) within just 45 seconds – 5:2!

HC Pustertal Wolves have been the chiefs on the ice in the first 20 minutes (18:8-shots), but KEC goalie Ty Rinner allowed no goal. The Italians took some penalties late in period 1 and this was quickly punished by the hosts after the re-start: Captain Peter Lenes netted the 1:0 5-on-3 after just 32 seconds. The game got chippy after the halftime. Bruneck has been on Power Play and has turned the game with two Power Play goals netted by Gander (35./pp, 42/pp). Virtala has quickly added the 3:1 (45.) and then, Gander has even netted the 4:1 in an other Power Play (56.). Kitzbühel’s Rosenlechner has scored the last goal in this game for the final result in minute 60 - 2:4. But, Leader HC Pustertal Wolves has earned their 15. consecutive win in season-game 15, thanks to a strong 3rd period.

Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan have been on fire in Feldkirch in period 1 (17:7-shots). The Italians have been quickly rewarded for their offensive game with two goals from Mantinger (7.) and Kruselberger (15.). After the re-start, the Vorarlberger took over the controll of the game and started applying pressure on their opponent. Christian Jennes has finally netted the 1:2 in a Power Play. But, the Italians responded quickly with a shorthanded goal by Kyle Just (36.). The West-Austrians dominated the last 20 minutes (11:3-shots), but WSV goalie Gianluca Vallini allowed just one more goal by Pfennich (59.) and secured the Broncos three points.

First match of coach Ron Ivany in home game. Phil Pietroniro was absent. Asiago quickly took control of the game but they didn’t find the goal in the various powerplay. The yellowread team hit the post and crossbar. When missing 51 seconds to the end of the first period Asiago scored the first goal with a great action by Mark Naclerio. Anthony Bardaro doubled in the second half. The Asiago had full control of the game and after just 19 seconds there was the third goal of Michele Stevan that finalizes an action by Captain Benetti. After 28 minutes there was the first guest goal with Ramon Schnetzer with a blue shot in powerplay. But the Asiago continued his game. Pace achieved the fourth with an empty goal after an assist by Bardaro and the same forward scored the fifth goal with a shot under the crossbar. The goalkeeper of the KAC changed (Holzer off / Vorauer on) but in powerplay Miglioranzi realized the sixth goal of Asiago. In the third time there were many penalties but the result didn’t’ change. Asiago won by 6: 1 as they returned to the victory after three losses.

Gabriel Galassiti returned to play for home team while Simon and Andreas Vinatzer were absent. In the Cortina’s roster Giacomo Pompanin was present while Renè Vallazza was absent. Very intense game was play right from the start. The Gherdeina took the lead on the first real action in attack. Samuel Moroder overtook two defenders and then put the puck under the crossbar. After a Cortina pole, Gherdeina doubled with Linus Lundstrom who closed a fine action by David Roupec. But the Cortina halveed the disadvantage after 9 minutes. Mathieu Ayotte realized on short rejected by Pietila. In the second half the host formation was more concrete in attack. At the start of the second half Riccardo Lacedelli equalized after a mistake by the home defense. Then in the middle of the match Tuomas Vanttinen took the lead with a shot from the blue in the traffic in the the front of the net. But before the end of the second half Michael Sullman Pilsner equalized with a shot from the blue. In the third time despite the penalties, especially against the Cortina, neither team could exploit the powerplay. The match went to overtime and Tuomas Vanttinen realized the final 4:3 for the Cortina in the only goal of the game scored in powerplay. Big game of Vanttinen who scored 2 goals and served 2 assists. The Gherdeina lost the first game after 4 consecutive victories.

The two teams played with the same players on last Thursday. Milan is coached by Andrea De Zordo. The Zell am See started with a lot of decision but despite good chances didn’t find the net. The home tema built some dangerous actions but the balance is broken thanks to a fast action by Frederik Widen that served the winning assist for Louke Oakley. In the second period the game was more fought. Tobias Dinhopel built the doubling in powerplay but three minutes later Guillame Doucet halved the disadvantage with a touch on the net (in powerplay). Polar Bears weren’t demoralized as they made the third goal with Peter Leblanc. But the decisive moment came after 37 minutes when the Austrians made two goals in 45 seconds: Frederik Widen (in powerplay) and Tobias Dinhopel launched the Zell am See. Milan, however, didn’t give up. Seven seconds from the end of the central period, Milan put the second goal with Tommaso Terzago. In the third time the Austrians controlled the game with three goals of advantage. Milan tried to reopen the game but Patrick Machreich was very careful. Petr Vala's goal ended the game after 47 minutes while Francis Verrault-Paul scored the last goal of the match for redblue side. The Zell am See won by 6:3 for the second consecutive victory on the road after the arrival on the bench of Greg Holst.

Davide Schiavone and Soel Costantin were absent in Fassa. Minute after minute the Salzburg took possession of the game as they attacked insistently. The first powerplay allowed the Salzburg to take the lead with Valtteri Meisaari. The Austrian team had the game in hand but after 15 minutes goalkeeper Leevi Laakso made a big mistake and Andrea Odorizzi scored a draw. From this moment the game was more balanced. Even in the second half the Red Bull Juniors Hockey controlled the game but they made only one goal with Aljaz Predan in powerplay. The guests didn’t finalize a counterattack for a possible 3: 1. Diego Iori, however, made the draw with a stubborn and tenacious action with a diving goal. The second half ended 2: 2. The important moment arrived after 53 minutes: Oliver Nordberg scored on the counterattack after stealing a puck in neutral zone. The Fassa tried to re-open the game by removing Matt Hewitt already two minutes from the end. Jesper Kokkila made the final empty net goal for the Austrians who won by 4:2.
