Important contract extension in Feldkirch! Goalie Alex Caffi continues playing for the FBI VEU Feldkirch in the 2018/19-season as well. The 27-year old Italian was among the Top 7 goalies in the Alps Hockey League 2017/18, he had a save% of 92,2 and a GAA of 2.62 out of 45 games. The Italian Nationalteam keeper has experience from playing in Italy, Switzerland and overseas too. The club is still looking for a Back-up, because Patrick Kühne will miss most season after an operation.

Italian Rene Baur will work as fitness- and goalie coach in Bruneck in the up-coming season. The 33-year old former (Italian Nationalteam) goalie started his career as a player at HC Pustertal Wolves as well. During the last three years, Baur worked as Conditioning Coach in Davos in Switzerland.

Swede Torgny Bendelin is the new chief of the youth program in Lustenau. The 61-year old Swede has worked as a coach in his home-country so far (since 1982). During the last three years, Bendelin coached the U18-team of Sweden.

Migross Supermercati stays the main sponsor of Alps Hockey League-Champion Asiago Hockey 1935 for another two years.
