On Tuesday is played already the third final game between UPC Vienna Capitals and EC-KAC at Kagran. Lately Jonathan Ferland and Co. were successful at home nine times in a row. Besides Vienna has the chance to get another record on Tuesday: As the second team after EC Red Bull Salzburg in the year 2015 the Caps could get eleven Playoff-wins in a row! So far Jonathan Ferland and Co. won all ten Playoff-games 2016/17! „We will play with 120% from the start“, promised Capitals Assistant Captain Rafael Rotter. After a 2:0-series-lead in the finals in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga in five from six series the leading team also won the title so far.

EC-KAC is already under pressure in final game number 3 on Tuesday at Vienna. After loosing also game 2 with 4:5 in Overtime after a 4:1-lead the Red Jackets must win now four from the five remaining finals to bring the title to Klagenfurt. This is no new situation for EC-KAC: Also in the semis against EC Red Bull Salzburg  Manuel Geier and Company were back in the series already with 0:2 and then made it into the next round with four wins in a row! Besides the Carinthians were the last club, that was able to win at Kagran on January 20th this year. „We have Playoffs! Nothing is decided yet. We played strong in the first period. In Vienna we must play this way for 60 minutes“, knows Klagenfurts Head Coach Mike Pellegrims.

In final game 3 Riley Holzapfel is honored MVP and goalie David Kickert (both UPC Vienna Capitals) EISNER Auto YoungStar of the season 2016/17.
