Fr, 12.10.2018: Vienna Capitals – EC-KAC 2:1 (0:0, 1:0, 1:1)
After nine games of Erste Bank Eishockey Liga the Vienna Capitals are still undefeated. In an exciting and high class game against the EC-KAC Christopher DeSousa made the difference. The Canadian not only opened the scoring of the evening but also found the decision one minute before the end. Mitch Wahl tied the game in the third period, but his didn’t manage to reach the overtime. J.P. Lamoureux saved a lot of big chances of the KAC and brought the third consecutive defeat of the Corinthians.
Fr, 12.10.2018: Moser Medical Graz99ers – EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz 4:0 (1:0, 3:0, 0:0)
The Moser Medical Graz 99ers celebrated a 4:0 win over the Liwest Black Wings Linz and are still the first persecutor of the Capitals. Three goals of the 99ers in the second period brought the decision for the home team. Matthew Caito scored twice this evening and Linus Ludin celebrated his first shutout this season. With that win the 99ers gained some good advantage to the fourth place.
Fr, 12.10.2018: HC Orli Znojmo – HCB Südtirol Alperia 0:4 (0:3, 0:0, 0:1)
After nine rounds the HCB Südtirol Alperia captured the same amount of points as the 99ers. The acting champ celebrated a 4:0 win over the HC Orli Znojmo and is still one of the top teams of the league. Bolzano started quick into the game and captured a 3:0 lead already in the first period. Michael Blunden took the lead in the scorer list after scoring one goal and one assist on Saturday.
Fr, 12.10.2018: Dornbirn Bulldogs – EC Red Bull Salzburg 3:6 (2:1, 1:3, 0:2)
The EC Red Bull Salzburg keeps on climbing the standings. After the false start into the season, Salzburg celebrated already the fourth consecutive win in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. The team of Greg Poss turned the game against the Dornbirn Bulldogs within five minutes in the second period, where they scored three goals. With that win Salzburg overtook the Bulldogs in the standings. But the Bulldogs already reacted on the market and signed the Canadian forward Brock Trotter.
Fr, 12.10.2018: EC Panaceo VSV – Fehervar AV19 4:2 (2:0, 0:1, 2:1)
The EC Panaceo VSV celebrated a 4:2 home win over Fehervar AV19. The eagles captured a quick 2:0 lead. At the beginning of the third period the Hungarians fought back and tied the game. A powerplay goal of Brandon Alderson brought the VSV on the road of success. Jerry Pollastrone scored two goals in total this evening.
