Champion Asiago signs forward Mark Naclerio

The reigning Alps Hockey League champions Supermercati Asiago Hockey have added American forward Mark Naclerio, who played for Linz in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga lately. In addition, Hockey Milano Rossoblu, Zell am See and EC-KAC II announced some contract extensions.

Champion Supermercati Asiago Hockey has signed center Mark Naclerio. After playing four years for the Brown university (two as captain), the American switched between East Coast Hockey League and American Hockey League. At the beginning of 2018 the 26 years-old American came to Europe for the first time, joining Liwest Black Wings Linz. After playing 28 games in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, the forward opens a new chapter in Alps Hockey League.
 
Zell am See extends two defenders
With Martin Oraze an experienced player has signed a contract extension with EK Zeller Eisbären. The 33 years-old defender had 20 points (13 goals and seven assists) in 34 games last season. In addition, the club also extended Patrick Gaffal's contract. The 23 years-old passed through the youth teams of Liwest Black Wings Linz where he also had some Erste Bank Eishockey Liga appearances on senior level. Last campaign he hit the ice 38 times for the polar bears, scoring three goals.
 
Tommaso Terzago stays in Milano
With forward Tommaso Terzago Hockey Milano Rossoblu has announced another player for their Alps Hockey debut season. The winger passed through the academy of Swiss side HC Ambrì-Piotta, and played for the youth teams of Davos and Lugano, too. Terzago, who both played for the Italian under 18 and under 20 national teams at World Championships, came to Milano for the first time in 2014. One year later he transferred once again to Switzerland, before coming back to the Rossoblu in December 2016. Last campaign he had 16 goals and 21 assists in 30 games.
 
Klagenfurt's roster is mostly fixed
Almost two months before the starts of the new season, EC-KAC II has its roster mostly fixed. With netminder Jakob Holzer and Wolfgang Puff two more home grown players have extended their contracts in Klagenfurt lately. Head coach Kirk Furey has only three new arrival as Niklas Würschl, Markus Pirmann and Marcel Witting will strengthen the young team.
