Numerous transfer activities took place in the past week. With Jaakko Jokinen a former Champions Hockey League winner joins the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan. At the EC Die Adler Stadtwerke with Lewis Hook a British international will be in the squad for the coming season. New signings were also announced in Fassa, Ritten, Gherdeina, Linz and Jesenice.

CHL champion for Vipiteno
The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan signed Jaakko Jokinen, who won the Champions Hockey League in 2018 with JYP. Last season the 29-year-old Finn played with Gladiators HT. Vipiteno will be his second engagement outside his home country.

Moreover the Broncos signed four new young players, three of them will be on loan of the HC Pustertal. The new players are: Kevin Baumgartner (D), Alex Zecchetto (F), Lukas De Lorenzo Meo (F) and Raffael Pohlin. 22-year-old Pohlin last played in the USA, with Rivier Univ. With Markus Gander (16G|26A) and Tommy Gschnitzer (2G|3A) the South Tyroleans also announced two contract extensions.

British international Hook signs in Kitzbühel
25-year-old Lewis Hook will play outside Great Britain for the first time in the coming season. The forward, who last played with the Belfast Giants in the Elite Ice Hockey League joins the EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel.

The native of Peterborough was on the ice for his national team at two World Cups so far. In the Champions Hockey League he made eight appearances.

New signings and contract extensions in Fassa
The SHC Fassa Falcons announced two new signings and three contract extensions during the past week. 20-years-old Samuel Rohregger and Gioele Rosa will be new at the club. Goalkeeper Rohregger last played in the United States with the South Shore Kings. Gioele Rosa already played with the Falcons in his youth. In the last year´s, the forward was active in Switzerland.
New contracts fort he coming season have Diego Iori, Nik Trottner and Soel Costantin. For the 36-year-old Iori it will be the 16th season with the Italians.

New defender for Ritten
With Aleksi Mäkelä the Rittner Buam signed a new defender. For the Finn it will be the first season outside his home country. The last two campaigns the 29-year-old was active with Vaasan Sport in Liiga.

Amorosa heads to Gherdeina
Past season's quarterfinalist HC Gherdeina valgardena.it has signed Terrance Amorosa for the upcoming AHL campaign. The 27-year-old defender last played for Rocket de Laval in the American Hockey League (2G|14A). Additionally the South Tyroleans announced the contract extensions with Michael Sölva and Julian Senoner.

Steel Wings sign Latvian and Lithuanian forwards
With Karlis Bucenieks a 21-year-old Latvian will play with the Steinbach Steel Wings Linz in the coming season. The forward last played with HK mogo, scoring 42 points in 38 games. Furthermore the Upper Austrians signed Lithuanian Eimantas Noreika. The 20-year-old forward was last active in Latvia too. At Liepaja he scored 15 points in 39 games.

Three contract extensions at Bregenzerwald
At the EC Bregenzerwald the contracts with Philip and Manuel Metzler were extended fort he coming season. The 29-year-old Finn Waltteri Lehtonen will head into his second season with the Vorarlberg team. Past season the forward scored 52 points in 34 games.

Two contract extensions at Hockey Unterland
U18 national team player Alex Egger heads with Hockey Unterland Cavaliers into the first AHL season. For 20-year-old Gabriel Zerbetto it will be his first AHL season too.

Two new signings at Jesenice
Last season´s runner up HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice announced the signing of 22-year-old Anze Prostor, and 26-year-old Niki Blomberg. While Prostor last played with HD Jesenice Mladi, Blomberg was last active in France with Nantes (3G|15A). The Slovenians also announced the contract extension with Nik Sirovnik.

Radin stays in Meran/o
28-year-old Andreas Radin continues to play for the HC Meran/o Pircher. At the South Tyroleans, where he already played in his youth, it will be his fourth season in a row.
