HCB Südtirol Alperia has reduced its gap to league leader Innsbruck to two points again, as the second-placed Foxes won 4-3 against the spusu Vienna Capitals. Bolzano scored three times through Culkin (13.), Frank (21.) and Mitch Hults (32.) but Vienna always had the right answer: James Sheppard (22. and 37.) was responsible for the equalizer twice, who made an impressive comeback after a one and a half month injury break. Nevertheless, the visitors triumphed, as Angelo Miceli (46.) finished off a strong Gazley assist to make it 4-3. Vienna thus remained without points for the first time since December 11th or eight games in a row.

The seven-time champion dominated at home Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and celebrated with 4-1 his seventh victory after regular playing time in a row. After Andrew Sarauer (9.) put the visitors happily in the lead with his 350th regular season point, the "Red Bulls" turned up the heat from the 29th minute: Paul Stapelfeldt, Florian Baltram (36.), Benjamin Nissner (53.) and Peter Schneider (60./EN) brought the dominance on the ice also on the scoreboard.
