Zell am See loses in Fassa
The EK Die Zeller Eisbären lost to the SHC Fassa Falcons with 2:3 despite an intermediate 2:0 lead. Daniel Tedesco was the match-winner for the Italians. The 27-year-old first scored to make it 1:2 before scoring the game-winner just 30 seconds before the end of the game to give the twelfth-placed team in the table its fourth win from the past five games. The "Polar Bears", on the other hand, could only win one of the past five games. The Salzburg team is still in seventh place.

Clear away win for Red Bull Hockey Juniors
The Red Bull Hockey Juniors, who already recorded their fourth win in a row, won clearly with 6:3 at league newcomer HC Meran/o Pircher. Luca Auer was the only player to score twice. The South Tyroleans, on the other hand, continued their negative trend, losing for the third time in a row. With 45 points, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors are currently in the strong fifth place in the table. Merano is immediately ahead of Fassa in eleventh place.

No chance for Cortina against Ritten
The Rittner Buam responded to the recent 1:8 defeat against Asiago with a clear 4:1 home victory over S.G. Cortina Hafro. For the "Buam" it was the fifth win from the past six games. In the table they move up to second place. For Cortina, which has won six of the last seven games against Ritten, it was the first defeat after two consecutive victories. The Italians are in eighth place in the standings. Both Zachary Osburn and Andreas Lutz scored twice.

Broncos lose on return to Sterzing
The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan returned to Sterzing with a 4:1 loss against Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey. Since the arena collapsed in February this year, the South Tyrolean team had to play their home games away from home.
