Kitzbühel celebrates comeback victory against Salzburg
The EC "die Alder" Kitzbühel Stadtwerke Kitzbühel celebrated a comeback victory over the Red Bull Hockey Juniors at their start of the Home & Away Round. The Juniors suffered their second consecutive defeat in the second phase. But Salzburg got off to a better start and took a 2-0 lead within eight minutes. Kitzbühel fought back and managed to equalize four minutes before the end. In the overtime Pontus Wenerson finally made the decision.

S.G. Cortina Hafro Hockey also wins the second game of the Home & Away Round within three days. After the shootout success over HC Pustertal, Cortina added an 10:5 success over HC Gherdeina valgerdena.it. The HC Gherdeina, who performed a nearly perfect R2P round, had to accept his third defeat in the second phase. Cortina controlled the action on the ice right from the start. After 34 minutes the guests were already leading 4-0 before a sign of life from Gherdeina came. But Cortina did not give the game out of hands. After a goal-rich last period, Cortina clearly won 10:5. This was the highest-scoring game of the season. Eight different Cortina cracks entered the scoring list.
