The BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg have announced the first contract extension with Alex Caffi for the upcoming campaign in the win2day ICE Hockey League. For the remainder of this season, the 32-year-old netminder will move to EHC Visp in Switzerland. In addition, Steinbach Black Wings Linz extended the contract of forward Brodi Stuart.

After six years in the Alps Hockey League, Alex Caffi entered his debut season in the win2day ICE Hockey League with the BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg. In 29 games, the 32-year-old had a .908 save percentage. However, the Pioneers will be without Caffi for the remainder of the current season. He will move to Switzerland to join EHC Visp in the Suisse League until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Stuart stays in Linz
In addition, the Steinbach Black Wings Linz extended the contract of forward Brodi Stuart, who has recorded four goals and six assists in 39 games so far this season.
