Contract extensions in Innsbruck, Ljubljana and Fehérvár

Three teams of the win2day ICE Hockey League have announced further contract extensions. Simon Bourque enters his second ICE season with HC TIWAG Innsbruck. Ziga Pance will remain with HK SŽ Olimpija for the 22/23 season after returning two years ago. Vice-champion Hydro Fehérvár AV19 extends a cooperation with defender Bence Stipsicz.

Innsbruck extends with Simon Bourque
Simon Bourque enters his second season with HC TIWAG Innsbruck. In the past season, the 25-year-old recorded 5 goals and 22 assists in 48 games - the Canadian was thus the second best scorer among the Sharks' defensemen

Stipsicz stays in Fehérvár
After a difficult season, in which Bence Stipsicz could only play two league games due to injury, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 continues to rely on the Hungarian defender. The 25-year-old signed a 1+1 contract.

Pance and Simšič remain loyal to Ljubljana
After his Ljubljana return two years ago, Ziga Pance will remain with HK SŽ Olimpija in the 22/23 season. The 33-year-old Slovenian is already entering his 10th professional year for his hometown. Nik Simšič will also stay in Ljubljana. The 25-year-old Slovenian enters his fifth season with HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana.

Witting and Hochegger enter 22/23 season with KAC
EC-KAC has filled two more positions on its squad for the upcoming 2022/23 ICE Hockey League season: Forwards Samuel Witting and Fabian Hochegger will remain part of the red and white lineup. While the contract with the Tyrolean-born forward was already valid for the upcoming season, the homegrown player signed a new contract that is initially limited to one season.
