Villach-born Christof Kromp joined the spusu Vienna Capitals for the 2021-22 season. In his first campaign, the hard-working defenceman scored eleven points (2 goals + 9 assists) in 46 regular season games. The left winger's second season, however, was characterised by injuries. Kromp was only able to play eight games and record one assist. Last season, Kromp returned with eleven points (3 goals + 8 assists) in 44 games. In his first three years in yellow and black, the forward played a total of 107 games and gained 23 points (5 goals + 18 assists). Kromp has played 342 games in win2day ICE Hockey to date, scoring 84 points (28 goals + 56 assists).

"I'm extremely happy to be able to continue playing for the spusu Vienna Capitals and can't wait until things finally get going again. We've had a difficult season recently, but everyone wants to improve individually. I want to do my part to ensure that things pick up again next season," says Christof Kromp.

Some contract extensions in Feldkirch
The Pioneers Vorarlberg announced the contract extensions of Oskar Maier and Luca Erne. Maier, who came to the "Ländle" from champions Salzburg last summer, scored six goals and recorded seven assists. He also created numerous dangerous goalscoring opportunities with his speed. Erne had a bumpy start to the season and was therefore transferred to EC Bregenzerwald in the Alps Hockey League by head coach Dylan Stanley in order to rebuild his confidence. There he played his way into the first line and into the focus of the Pioneers coaching staff. He returned to the ICE team in the hot phase of the season and repaid their trust with five goals. The talents Aron Summer, Mark Mussbacher, Janick Wernicke and Yannik Lebeda are also staying in Feldkirch.
