The youngsters Gasper Glavic and Blaz Tomazevic go into another season with HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. Young forward Daniel Zwerger stays at EC Bregenzerwald. The talents Gianluca March and Simon Berger will play for HC Pustertal Wolves 2017/18. And while young defenseman Daniel Spimpolo is the first new player at Fassa, Jari Monferone continues his career with the Falcons.

One newcomer, one return and one contract extensions at Bruneck
20-year-old Gianluca March transfers to HC Pustertal „Wolves“. Last season the defender played 34 games for HC Fassa Falcons in the Alps Hockey League and scored five points (1G/4A). The club also announced the return of 17-year-old Simon Berger. Because of changing school the captain of the U18 national team, who hit the ice for Tölzer Lions youth teams the last three seasons, left the Wolves some years ago. Besides Ivo Machacka remains assistant coach at Bruneck.
 
First new arrival and one contract extension at Fassa
HC Fassa Falcons presented with Daniel Spimpolo their first new player for the second Alps Hockey League compaign! The 20 years old defenseman won last season with the Hockey Club Milano the title in Italians second highest League, scoring six points from 16 games and he also became Italian Cup Champion 2017 with the "Rossoblu". His youth Spimpolo spend with his home-club HCB Südtirol Alperia and HC Lugano in Switzerland. In addition Jari Monferone stays at Fassa. The Power-Forward returned during the past season from HC Gherdeina valgardena.it to the Falcons, where he played already 2014/15 and 2015/16. Last season the 26 years old Italian National Team player scored 20 points (7G/13A) from 35 Alps Hockey League-games.
 
Two Youngsters stay at Jesenice
With Gasper Glavic and Blaz Tomazevic two big Slovenian hockey-talents stay another season with their home-club HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. Both became Slovenian Champion with the "Red Steelers" 2017 and are U20 National Team players of their country.
 
Next contract extension at EC Bregenzerwald
With Julian Zwerger a Youngster stays at EC Bregenzerwald. The 20 years old strong Forward was already Inter National League Champion with the Wälder 2016. Last season Zwerger made totally 23 Alps Hockey League-games for the FBI VEU Feldkirch and ECB and scored two Assists.
