Daniel Frank is originally from Merano and came to Bolzano in the summer of 2013. The 27-years-old has improved year after year and is now one of the leading figures in the white-red team: thanks to his fighting spirit, his leadership qualities and his commitment also in penalty killing, he has undisputedly become the crowd's number one favorite. The past season was his definite confirmation: with 26 points (personal record) he was the top scorer of the local players and was voted MVP of the season by the HCB fans.

"It was a great honor to be chosen by our fans as MVP of the past season," said Frank, "I would like to thank everyone who gave me their vote and appreciated my performances on the ice. Of course, it would have been the crowning achievement if we had won the title: the loss in the finals was one of the biggest disappointments in my sporting career, so the desire for revenge is very strong."
