After finishing his college career at Robert Morris University, Daniel Mantenuto started at pro level in 2020 in the Asiago jersey: In two seasons with the "Stellati", he won the Italian championship twice, the Alps Hockey League once and two Italian Super Cups. He earned 101 points in 111 games (38 goals and 63 assists), making him one of the main protagonists of these successes. He then moved to Bolzano, where he impressed in his first season with 27 points in 67 games (7+20). In the past campaign, the forward scored 38 points in 60 games (17 goals and 21 assists). This made him the HCB's third-highest scorer in the regular season. The versatile centre forward impresses with his consistently good performances and understanding of the game. He combines a good eye for goal with equally outstanding defensive work.

The 26-year-old is also part of the Italian national team. He scored five points (2 goals, 3 assists) in as many games at the Divison 1A World Championship in Bolzano. For the second time in a row, he was honoured by the IIHF as one of the three best players on his team.

Mantenuto: "The last two years in Bolzano have been special, but the icing on the cake has been missing. We have a great group and we know that we have all the ingredients to win the championship: Two years ago we came close, last year, after a difficult start, we got back together and fought our way through to the decisive 7th semi-final match. The hunger for success is still there, and above all we owe it to the city and our fans, who have always supported us. I've found a wonderful environment here and I'm delighted to be able to continue wearing this jersey."
