"The offer from Hockey Canada came completely unexpected for me. Until a few days ago, I was still fully involved in planning for the upcoming season in Vienna. The decision to leave the Caps was one of the hardest in my entire coaching career. Vienna has become my second home, the organization and its fans have grown very close to my heart. But you can't turn down the job as head coach of Canada's U20 National Team. I already had the honor to hold this unique position once in 2011. To be given this opportunity again to coach Canada's U20s at the World Juniors, and at a World Cup in my own country, is a real privilege. I am extremely grateful to President Hans Schmid and General Manager Franz Kalla for not putting any obstacles in my way," Dave Cameron said.
