After four full seasons and winning two championship titles (2019 and 2021) at EC-KAC, Dennis Sticha moved within the win2day ICE Hockey League, signed a contract with Steinbach Black Wings Linz. This is initially defined for two seasons, with the club having the option to extend for one more. In the past campaign Sticha completed, due to an upper body injury, only six ICE games for the "Rotjacken".

"Immediately after the request I had a really good feeling, the Black Wings have made a lot of effort for me to do so. Linz is still a great address in domestic hockey. I'm extremely excited about the new challenge and can hardly wait to finally get started," Sticha said. New head coach Philipp Lukas describes the 23-year-old as an "interesting, young player with great potential".
