Werfring stays in Zell am See
Dieter Werfring will continue to work as the Head Coach of EK Zeller Eisbären in the upcoming season as well. The 50-year old Austrian took over in Pinzgau 2016. 2017/18, the Polar Bears earned 60 points (20 wins) out of 40 games and finished the Alps Hockey League on place 12.

Rittner Buam added seven youngsters to their roster
Youngster Stefan Quinz returns after five years playing overseas to Italy and he will go for goal and points for the Rittner Buam 2018/19. The 21-year old forward played for the Boston Junior Bandits during the last three seasons. 2017/18, the young Italian made 47 games for the Bandits in the NCDC scoring ten points (6G/4A). Besides, the Vice-Champion has extended the contracts with the Under-19-players Lukas Mayr, Manuel Öhler, Robert Öhler (all forwards), Alexander Brunner, Adam Giacomuzzi (both defensemen) and Raphael Gasser (goalie).

Sullmann and Willeit join Gherdeina
31-year old defenseman Christian Willeit and 25-year old forward Michael Sullmann (both ITA) went from Meran to HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. Each player has already played in the Alps Hockey League with HC Neumarkt RIWEGA in the past two years as well. Willeit had 18 points (1G/17A) out of 35 games for the wild-geese 2017/18, Sullmann 19 points (10G/9A) out of 28 matches. 2014, the two Italians have won the Inter-National-League with Neumarkt.

Contract extension in Asiago and Cortina
Marco Rosa (CAN) will continue to play for Champion Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 in the upcoming season as well. The 36-year old Canadian forward has been a key-player in the team last season, he had 77 points (29G/48A, Plus-Minus: +35) out of 52 games. Just, forward Anthony Bardaro scored more points (79) in the Alps Hockey League 2017/18.
Italian Federico Lacedelli will continue to defend for Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro in the upcoming season as well. The 25-year old defenseman had two Assists out of 40 games last season.
