Bratislava opens qualification round with six bonus points
The iClinic Bratislava Capitals finished the regular season phase one of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League in seventh place and thus start the Qualification Round with six bonus points. The newcomer lost 5:6 after overtime at the Dornbirn Bulldogs, but the point win was enough to relegate the Moser Medical Graz99ers, who are tied on points, to eighth place - due to the advantage in the direct duel of just one goal (6:6 points | 13:12 goals). To do so, the ICE newcomer in Vorarlberg needed a strong finish, David Buc (54./PP1) and Milos Bubela (58.) secured the overtime late. There, the Bulldogs, which twice led by two goals, did not let the extra point slip away: William Rapuzzi (61.) decided the game after 26 seconds.

Graz finishs on eighth place
The Moser Medical Graz99ers have finished the regular season phase one of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League in eighth place, taking four bonus points with them. The point gained in the 3:4 defeat after overtime at EC Red Bull Salzburg at least secured eighth place - a strong finish was also responsible for this: the Graz lead by newcomer Michael Latta after 34 seconds was turned around by Mario Huber with a brace and Tim Harnisch for the "Bullen", which did not take a single penalty in this encounter. With a strong final frame and goals from Erik Kirchschläger (44.) and Matias Sointu (50.), the 99ers reached overtime, where Dominique Heinrich (62.) hit the OT-game-winner.

Innsbruck remains ninth despite win
HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie failed to improve their ranking despite a clear 6:3 win at EC GRAND Immo VSV. The Tyroleans finish the regular season phase one in ninth place and take two bonus points into the intermediate round. The "Sharks" made the preliminary decision already in the first period: the Innsbruck team scored four goals in the first 20 minutes against Jakub Sedlacek, who made his debut in the Villach goal. The Carinthians showed improvement in the further course, but they could not bring about a turnaround. Innsbruck's Deven Sideroff finished with a hat trick and an assist.

Linz upsets leader
The Steinbach Black Wings 1992 have ended the regular season phase one in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League with a 3:2 home win over league leader HCB Südtirol Alperia. The Linz side, which twice overturned a deficit, thus won three games in a row for the first time this season. Once again, Brian Lebler was the key factor, as the forward netted a brace including a game-winner and was also involved in Marco Brucker's equalizer with an assist.
