Duel for sixth place between Fassa and Feldkirch

A neighborhood duel in the league table will take place between the SHC Fassa Falcons and the VEU Feldkirch on Tuesday. The sixth placed Fassa (36 points) aims for the seventh consecutive victory. Feldkirch follows on seventh place with 35 points and lost for the first time after four wins in a row past Saturday.

The SHC Fassa Falcons has currently the strongest form in the Alps Hockey League. No other team has a winning streak like FAS (six wins in a row). In the table, the Falcons are already in sixth place and thus above the line. The VEU Feldkirch follows one place behind and is seventh. After four wins in a row, the Vorarlberg team lost for the first time last Saturday. Against the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan they conceded a 2:3 home defeat. In the Head-2-Head, the Austrians are clearly ahead with 5:1.

With the Czech Robin Soudek, the VEU has the league's top scorer in its squad, ex aequo with Jure Sotlar (EKZ). The 28-year-old has always scored at least one point in the last ten games. Overall, he scored 23 goals and made 18 assists.
