As the EC-KAC announced, Juha Vuori became the new assistant coach and junior coaches instructor, while Andrej Hočevar was named the new goaltending coach for the upcoming bet-at-home ICE Hockey League season. Moreover, defender Alex Wall remains with the spusu Vienna Capitals.

Coaching staff at EC-KAC complete
Juha Vuori is the new assistant coach to head coach Petri Matikainen. The Finn switched to coaching at the age of 27 and has since built up an impressive career. Starting at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, he moved on to the Finnish federeation before joining the coaching staff of first division club Rauman Lukko for nine seasons. In addition to his work as assistant coach of the first team, he will become junior coaches instructor too.

The position of goaltending coach will also be newly filled in the coming ICE season, which will be taken over by Andrej Hočevar. The long-time Slovenian national goalkeeper ended his active career in the summer of 2018 and switched to coaching. In the previous year the 35-year-old was already art of the junior section of the EC-KAC.

Alex Wall remains with Vienna
The spusu Vienna Capitals and Alex Wall agreed on further cooperation. The defender enters his third season for the two-time champion.

"I am very happy that I can return to Vienna and even more happy that hockey is finally being played again. My expectations are in line with those of the last two years: I naturally want to bring the title to Vienna with the caps," said the 29-year-old Canadian. In his 122 league games so far, the defender scored 20 goals and dished 47 assists.
