EK Zeller Eisbären welcome Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 in the hit of the round on Tuesday. The „Polar Bears“, who lost on Saturday for the first time this season, could overtake place 1 with a home-win. The Italians on the other side would reach the top-teams with a 3-point-win. The Austrians build their hopes on their perfect home-record: The Pinzgauer won so far all three home-games. But take attention: The Veneter arrive with the conficence of three wins in a row and they are still unbeaten on the road (two wins). Besides last season both clashes ended with road-wins.

HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice played strong defense lately: The Slovenians won the last four matches and received totally just three goals. The Steelers next opponent is now on Tuesday at home EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. The Tyoleans celebrated two (home-)wins lately. But on the road the Eagles had problems so far, they lost both matches and scored just one goal per game. Their last win at Jesenice the Tyroleans clebrated two years ago (November 14th 2015), since that day the Red Steelers had the upper hand five times in a row.

HDD SZ Olimpija starts as favorit into their home-game against EC-KAC II: The Slovenians are the team of the hour, Ljubjana collected the maximum of 15 points from the last five games and is second in the ranking. KAC on the other side is still without points after six games and has scored just six goals, while receiving 30.

EC Bregenzerwald and S.G. Cortina Hafro try the return on the winning-street on Wednesday at Dornbirn. The „Wälder“ lost their last two games and received 14 goals. Against the Italians the ECB-defense is required: Cortina, that was defeated by HDD SZ Olimpija lately 0:3, arrives at Dornbirn with AlpsHL-Topscorer Riley Brace (6G/9A) and goalscorer Zachary Torquato (5G/8A). Last season the Italians won the first two season-clashes, while in the Intermediate Round the Austrians had the upper hand then twice.

With HC Neumarkt Riwega and Rittner Buam two Italian clubs will face on Wednesday at Neumarkt. A favorit is quickly found: Champion Ritten, that lost on Saturday at Asiago with 3:4 for the first time in their sixth game, leads the ranking in Alps Hockey League with 15 points and a score of 26:10, while the wild-geese are still without points after six games and they did not score in the last 126 minutes. Besides the Rittner Buam won so far all (8) clashes with Neumarkt.

HC Gherdeina valgardena.it tries to end their bad run against FBI VEU Feldkirch on Wednesday. The Italians lost their last four games. The Austrians made the turn-around after three defeats already last weekend with a 1:0-win over Neumarkt and will try to add now another win at Gherdeina.
