The women's team of EV Zug crowned themselves EWHL Euro Cup champions in a thrilling final in front of nearly 1,500 fans – a record for the EWHL and for women's hockey in Zug. The Zug team dethroned defending champions Memmingen in the final. In the battle for third place, MAC Budapest triumphed in overtime over HK Budapest in a dramatic derby.

t was a true hockey festival and fantastic promotion for women's hockey this weekend, as the EV Zug women's team claimed the EWHL Euro Cup title on home ice. In a thrilling final against the defending champions Memmingen, and with 1,441 passionate fans in attendance, the Zug team secured a 3-2 victory. Noemi Neubauerova sealed the win just two and a half minutes before the end of the game.

MAC Budapest Claims Third Place in Derby
In the battle for third place, MAC Budapest celebrated a hard-fought overtime victory against HK Budapest in a tense derby. After trailing, a double strike by Alexandra Huszák secured the bronze medal.

EV Zug – MAC Budapest 8:0

Bronze Medal Game:
MAC Budapest - Hokiklub Budapest 2:1

Gold Medal Game:
EV Zug - ECDC Memmingen 3:2
