The matchup in Salzburg’s Eisarena turned into a fast-paced and hard-fought battle. After a scoreless opening period, both teams traded goals in an eventful second frame. The hosts struck first when Apsite scored on the power play, but Guerriero quickly equalized for the visitors. Clarke restored Salzburg’s lead, yet the Eagles from South Tyrol responded immediately — Guerriero netted her second of the night, and Bonafini added another to give EVB their first advantage.

In the final period, the visitors controlled the pace of play and limited Salzburg’s offensive chances. Kaneppele sealed the deal with a late goal less than two minutes before the end, making it 4-2.

With this victory, the EVB Eagles strengthened their road record and solidified their position as the main challenger to league leaders Aisulu Almaty.
