ERC Ingolstadt secured victory in Group B of the Euro Cup in Budapest. The German team defeated the Stavanger Oilers 5–1 at the Mátyásföldi Ice Hall and became the first side to qualify for the Final Four in October.

Goals for Ingolstadt came from Sarah Kubiczek, Lucy Klein, Kristin Schmid, Aileena Dopheide, and Katharina Häckelsmiller. The only goal for Stavanger was scored by Carmen Klees. A shot count of 40–25 underlined Ingolstadt’s dominance.

Earlier, MAC Budapest claimed third place in the Hungarian derby against Budapest Jégkorong Akadémia with a 6–2 win. Riley Hope Grimley and Tamara Gondos each scored twice, while Emily Baxter and Jet Milders added further goals. Réka Júlia Kerkovits and Haizea Fernández found the net for the Akadémia side.
