In the top match, EVB Eagles South Tyrol celebrated a 4:3 last-minute victory over HK PSRZ Bratislava. Two late goals from Justine Reyes enabled the new league leaders to turn the game in their favor in the final 90 seconds. The forward first tied the game at 3:3 with one and a half minutes remaining and then scored the 4:3 game-winner with 15 seconds left. Reyes made it 2:0 at the start of the final period and scored her first hat-trick of the season. It was a bitter first defeat for Bratislava after regulation time. They slipped to second place in the table, but with the same number of points as South Tyrol.
