HC Neumarkt Riwega – Red Bull Hockey Juniors 2:3 (0:0; 1:2; 1:1)
The home team played this match without the presence of three players: Michael Sullmann, Hannes Oberrauch and Tobias Brighenti. The Red Bull Juniors returned to play in AHL after a 22-days break. The Austrian team provided 11 players overall for the Under 20 Nationals Team of Austria and Germany during the Division I - Group A World Cup in France last week. After two minutes of play, there was a great opportunity for the Neumarkt but Jan Muzik didn’t overcome the goalkeeper Daniel Fiessinger in a penalty killing action. Then the game became more balanced as the team created few occasions for both attacks. In the final time the visiting team attacked more but the first half ended without goals. During the second period the Juniors were definitely leading offensively. Their pressure was rewarded around the middle of the match when in 113 seconds the austrian team scored two goals with Tobias Eder and Nico Eldner (the first on the rebound in powerplay and the second on the counterattack). Then the austrian formation didn’t find the third goal. In the final of the middle period Nuemarkt scored the first goal with Florian Wieser on rebound after a shot from the blue line by Martin Graf in powerplay. During the third time the game became very nervous. There were many penalties. The Red Bull Juniors achieved the third goal again with Tobias Eder in 2-man advantage in the middle of the period. The Neumarkt answered as they found the 2th goal again with Florian Wieser. But this goal was also the last point of the match and so the Red Bull Juniors Hockey won for 3:2 and they reached the 13th place in the standings.

Three players of home team weren’t available: Edoardo Caletti and Luca Zandonella (both injured) and Diego Iori (suspended). The derby of “Veneto” region was played with intesity from beginning and very full of emotions as it could expect. Asiago's powerplay din’t materialize. When it was the Cortina to play with the extra man, the first goals of the game were recorded. Riccardo Lacedelli scored with a shot at the intersection after a good powerplay played very well by Cortina. Then Francesco De Biasio realized the doubling, always in powerplay, with a shot from distance. The first half ended definitely in favor of the home team. After just 79 seconds of restart, Asiago halved the disadvantage with Davide Conci at the end of a good action. Then before the half of the match there was the draw of yellowteam. In powerplay the last touch with the stick was of Anthony Bardaro after a shot from the blue. Minute after minute the Asiago was increasingly in control of the game while the Cortina was in debt with energy. Only in the end of the central period the Cortina became dangerous again. In the third time the balance was broken by a double minor penalty against to Derel Roehl. The Asiago took the lead for the first time in the match with Marco Rosa who deflected a shot from Anthony Nigro with the stick.
