Hydro Fehérvár AV19 has clinched an important victory in the battle for the top spots in the win2day ICE Hockey League. After a long period of defeats against EC Red Bull Salzburg, the Hungarian team managed to celebrate two victories against their "fearful opponent" in just two weeks. This latest 2:1 victory, in particular the first win as guests in Salzburg since December 15, 2019, not only broke the "spell", but also helped Hydro Fehérvár AV19 to consolidate their second place in the league and increase the gap to Salzburg to five points.
