After a goalless first period in Székesfehérvár, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and the BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg played out an open exchange of blows with five goals in the middle period. The hosts went ahead three times - the first two times the Pioneers found a prompt answer. In the final period, the Hungarians were able to open up a two-goal gap twice. The Pioneers reduced the deficit both times, but did not make it into overtime. With this victory, Hydro Fehérvár drew level with league leaders Salzburg, who remain at the top due to their better goal difference. BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg, on the other hand, missed the chance to pull away in the battle for a pre-playoff spot.
