Hydro Fehérvár AV19 also decided the second season meeting against EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV in their favour, winning 3:2 away from home on Wednesday. In an even first period, Villach took the lead through Nikita Scherbak shortly before the end of the period. In the middle period, Balazs Sebok turned the game in the visitors' favour with a brace, but Maximilian Rebernig equalised on power play. In the final period, Janos Hari (PP) scored the game-winner.

HCB Südtirol Alperia remain hot on the heels of the Hungarians, earning a 2:1 shootout win against Olimpija Ljubljana. The visitors took the lead in the first period, with Miha Zajc benefiting from an ideal feed from Aljoša Crnovič. HCB had a few chances, but it took until the 43rd minute for Scott Valentine to equalise. The game finally went to a shootout, where Adam Helewka decided the game with the 20th attempt.

The Steinbach Black Wings secured a 2:0 away win in Vorarlberg. Ken Ograjensek scored the golden goal for the Linzers after ten minutes, while Rasmus Tirronen led the visitors to their first shutout of the season. The Upper Austrians thus moved up to fifth place in the table.

HC TIWAG Innsbruck returned to winning ways, winning 6:5 after overtime in Asiago - but three points would also have been possible for the visitors. Head coach Jordan Smotherman's team were already leading 5:2 in the 56th minute, but Asiago did not give up and even equalised with three goals within three minutes. In overtime, Corey Mackin scored his second goal of the evening to decide the game in favour of the Tyroleans, who moved up to eleventh place.
