Fehérvár Takes Over the League Lead
Hydro Fehérvár AV19 has dethroned HCB Südtirol Alperia at the top of the standings. In their showdown with the Moser Medical Graz99ers, the Hungarian side cruised to an emphatic 6-2 victory on Friday evening. Fehérvár opened the scoring early, but Graz managed to equalize on a power play. However, the "Red Devils" responded immediately and regained the lead. The visitors dominated the second period, adding four more goals, including two on the power play. Graz switched goaltenders during this stretch, but it did little to change the game. In the final period, the 99ers pushed to stage a comeback but were thwarted by Fehérvár’s well-organized defense and goaltender Dominik Horvath. With the 6-2 win, Fehérvár not only kept their pursuers at bay but also claimed the top spot in the standings.

Black Wings Claim Third Place
The Steinbach Black Wings Linz stunned the HCB Südtirol Alperia with a decisive 5-2 home victory, knocking the league leaders off their perch and climbing to third place. The first highlight came just eight minutes into the game, as Logan Roe scored to make it 1-0, triggering the fans' "Teddy Bear Toss." The Black Wings doubled their lead later in the first period and turned up the heat in the second, racing to a 5-1 advantage. The Upper Austrians sealed their tenth win in their last 11 games with a solid defensive effort in the final period, conceding only once more. They now trail the second-placed Foxes by just seven points.

Villach Turns the Game Against Ljubljana
EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV pulled off a dramatic comeback in an intense clash with Olimpija Ljubljana. Despite the Slovenians dominating play in the first period, Villach managed to take the lead twice. Ljubljana always had an answer and even went ahead twice themselves in the second period. NHL recruit Nick Bonino, playing his first game in the win2day ICE Hockey League, extended Ljubljana's lead to 5-3 in the third period. However, the "Eagles" turned the game on its head with their best offensive showing of the night: a goal by Marco Richter and a Kevin Hancock double secured the win. Villach’s final two goals came in the last three minutes of play.

Pustertal Ends Losing Streak
The HC Pustertal "Wolves" ended an eight-game losing streak with a dominant 5-1 win over Innsbruck in the Tyrolean derby, further deepening the "Sharks’" struggles. While Innsbruck had the better start and more chances in the opening period, Pustertal struck first. The Sharks managed to equalize just before the end of the first period. From the second period onward, however, the Wolves took control. Daniel Glira made it 2-1 in the 24th minute, and a strong offensive surge in the final period sealed the win. Three goals in the last 20 minutes secured the 5-1 victory for the visitors.

KAC Celebrates Shutout Win
EC-KAC earned a 2-0 shutout win in a defensively oriented matchup against the Pioneers Vorarlberg, solidifying their place in the top six. After a scoreless opening period in Feldkirch, Tobias Sablattnig broke the deadlock with his first goal of the season, putting the "Red Jackets" in front. Neither Alex Caffi for the Pioneers nor Sebastian Dahm for KAC allowed another goal as the game remained tight. Jan Mursak sealed the win with an empty-net goal in the final second, while Dahm celebrated his third shutout of the season.

Caps Grind Out Win in Asiago
The spusu Vienna Capitals fought hard to claim three points in Asiago. In a fiercely contested game, the Caps opened the scoring through Niki Hartl in the first period. Asiago managed to equalize twice in the second period. Ultimately, Joseph Cramarossa scored the game-winner with just under three minutes left, keeping the Italians at a safe distance in the standings.
