After a break of over two weeks, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 returned to league action in Tyrol. The visitors lived up to their role as favourites against the young team from Innsbruck. Nevertheless, the first period was relatively even, with Josh Atkinson (7th) scoring the only goal in the powerplay. János Hári added the second goal just 23 seconds after the restart. The captain successfully finished off a nice offensive move by the Hungarians. Fehérvár had now completely taken control and a deflected shot from Bence Stipsicz ended up in the net a little later to make it 0:3. In the third period, the HCI was stronger again, but the hosts were unable to find the back of the net. At the other end, the Hungarians scored three more times and returned to fourth place with the 6:0 victory. Goalie Dominik Horváth recorded his fourth shutout of the season.
