FBI VEU Feldkirch was on Fire in their home-game against EK Zeller Eisbären on Saturday, the Vorarlberger won with goals from eight different players 8:1. Besides EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau was successful in Alps Hockey League at Kitzbühel 4:2, Philipp Winzig had a 4-point-game (2G/2A).

Sat, 11.11.2017: EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel – EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau 2:4 (1:2,0:0,1:2)
EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel took shots from everywhere (46:31-shots), but Maximilian Wilfan made the first goal for the guests from Lustenau. In minute 16 Kitzbühel was rewarded with the 1:1 for their offensive play, but just 132 seconds later Dominik Oberscheider answered with another lead for the Vorarlberger. Once again the Assist came from Philipp Winzig. In period 2 both goalies - Jose Kangaskorte and Mikko Rämö - were on Fire, they stopped all shots. The guests started better in period 3, Winzig decided the game with two quick goals – 4:1. Kitzbühel fired another 13 shots in the last 20 minutes, but the Eagles could score just one more goal.

One week after FBI VEU Feldkirch and EK Zeller Eisbären faced already in Pinzgau the two teams meet again on Saturday at Feldkirch. In the first 20 minutes both teams had their chances, but just the Vorarlberger could score twice: First Martin Mairitsch was successful in minute eight and then Christoph Draschkowitz took advantage from a Power Play (13.). After the re-start the hosts were on Fire, Martin Mairitsch and Co. fired now from everywhere (25:8-shots in period 2) and were rewarded with six more goals within just 16 minutes – 8:0. The Polar Bears did not give up and could score one goal from Martin Oraze late in the game.
