Final game six between EC Red Bull Salzburg and EC-KAC made PULS 24 the strongest private TV channel in primetime in the entire Austrian television market on Tuesday evening: a total of around 236,000 viewers (WSK, 12+) watched the game. The number of spectators in the ice rinks also shows the great interest in the win2day ICE Hockey League.

After two dramatic overtime victories Red Bull Salzburg had a 3:2 series lead, then the EC-KAC won game six 4:1 on the road. The match on Tuesday evening set a ratings record for the TV partner, as PULS 24 achieved the highest daily market share in the station's history with 4.3 per cent (E12-49) and was the strongest private TV station in primetime in the entire Austrian television market (E12-49). The third period achieved a market share of 10.4 per cent (E12-49) with around 135,000 viewers (E12+) on average. A total of around 236,000 viewers (WSK, 12+) watched the match.

It is only the sixth time in the league's history that a final seven is played. The big showdown for the Karl Nedwed Trophy will be streamed live on Austria's free SuperStreamer JOYN and on puls24.at as well as on TV on PULS 24 from 19:05 on Friday.

The number of spectators in the ice rinks also shows the great interest in the win2day ICE Hockey League. So far, over 160,000 fans have attended the 45 playoff games. The last nine games were all sold out.
