After two home wins the finals between spusu Vienna Capitals and EC-KAC are tied at one with Vienna having the home advantage back on Thursday. In seven of the last nine Erste Bank Eishockey Liga final series, the winning team of game 3 claimed the title in the end.

Peter Schneider (spusu Vienna Capitals): „We have to play our game for 60 minutes, one good period is not enough. We have to get pucks goalwards. We are always strong in front of our home crowd.“
 
Johannes Bischofberger (EC-KAC): „I think it will be another tight match. We surely can improve on power play. Vienna is offensively strong, we don't want to give them space and focus on our game.“
