Benjamin Nissner of the EC Red Bull Salzburg got an automatic fine of €200.00 for his game misconduct penalty in the second final against the EC-KAC.

Should a player or official be penalized with a 5-minute major + game misconduct penalty that did not carry an additional suspension issued through DOPS (no further suspension) such player or team official is subject to an automatic fine as follows:

  • 5-minute major+game misconduct, no further suspension (first time offender): €200
  • 5-minute major+game misconduct, no further suspension (repeat offender): €400

For Benjamin Nissner it was his first Game-Misconduct penalty in the 2023/2024 win2day ICE Hockey League Play-Offs. Should he be penalized with a second game misconduct penalty anytime during the 2024 win2day ICE Hockey League finals, he will be suspended automatically for the ensuing win2day ICE Hockey League game.
