Oliver Setzinger (#91) of Moser Medical Graz99ers, time 55:28 was involved in an incident deemed as Boarding (IIHF Rule 119). The video evidence was sent to the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga Committee (PSC), which determined the incident to be worthy of supplementary discipline - Category 1A - 'Careless'.

According to the Arbitrator and having considered the video evidence and ruling of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga PSC, Oliver Setzinger (#91) of Moser Medical Graz99ers, will receive supplementary discipline under rule 119 – Boarding.

On October 11th in Graz, an incident occurred involving Oliver Setzinger (#91) deemed as boarding. The incident was sent to the PSC and determined supplementary discipline is required. After reviewing the entire incident, it is conclusive that (#91) Oliver Setzinger, for no apparent reason, wanted some form of retribution towards (#20) Jesper Thörnberg. This was 1st notice while play was progressing, Oliver Setzinger used his stick in the upper body portion of Jesper Thörnberg while he was on the ice. As play progressed and a stoppage occurred, Oliver Setzinger stayed in close proximity of Jesper Thörnberg. Once play had ended and well after the whistle, Oliver Setzinger followed Jesper Thörnberg into the corner with what appears to be a form of verbal discussion. When the players neared the corner boards, instead of ending the situation, Oliver Setzinger chose to escalate the situation. The reason for supplementary discipline is Oliver Setzinger made a choice to locate his hands directly on the upper portion of the back of Jesper Thörnberg and propel him directly from behind into the boards. This action is deemed careless and considering it occurred well after the whistle for the stoppage in play, deemed recklessly endangering.

Effective immediately, Oliver Setzinger (#91) of Moser Medical Graz99ers is fined 250.00Euros. In addition, considering Oliver Setzinger is a repeat offender previously, will now be considered for future incidents as a 2X repeat offender.
